The T-1000 is joining the Taylor Sheridan-verse. According to Deadline, Robert Patrick has been added to the Yellowstone prequel series 1923 as a series regular, joining previously announced actors Harrison Fordand Helen Mirren. Though he will not be playing a member of the Dutton clan in the Prohibition Era series, he will play a close ally of theirs in the Prohibition Era series.

The Dutton family's history will be divided between the formative years of 1883 and the current, Kevin Costner-led modern era in Yellowstone. Patrick will serve as the family's deputy, who will likely assist the Dutton family in defending against the plague of cattle thieves and criminals in Montana.

Patrick adds more talent to an already strong cast that includes Darren Mann, Michelle Randolph, James Badge Dale, Marley Shelton, Brian Geraghty, Aminah Nieves, and, most recently, Brandon Sklenar. Sheridan worked on the series with John Linson, Art Linson, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, and Ben Richardson as executive producers.

Patrick is known for playing the terrifying terminator in Terminator 2: Judgement Day, though he's not exactly known for it in Last Action Hero. It's quite appropriate then that Patrick would return in uniform for 1923, this time in a more friendly role rather than menacing the Duttons.

Patrick is well-known for performances in Wayne's World, What Josiah Saw, The Faculty, and The Marine, which was headed by John Cena. More recently, he's been re-introduced in Goliath, the new Perry Mason, and as Auggie Smith in Peacemaker.

The parent series of 1923 is currently in development in Montana, and it's slated to be released on Paramount+ in December. Before that happens, it will return on AMC on November 13 with its fifth season. Check out the teaser trailer for the upcoming season below:
