Who's Who in the Murder Mystery Comedy 'See How They Run' Cast and Character Guide

Who's Who in the Murder Mystery Comedy 'See How They Run' Cast and Character Guide ...

See How They Run follows a determined Hollywood producer who is attempting to turn a smash-hit play into a film. Inspector Stoppard is forced to join forces with rookie Constable Stalker in order to solve the mystery. The comedic mystery is filled with bumps and miscommunications as the two investigators ask the cast, crew, and potential witnesses to the horrific crime.

The pleasure of watching these films is in figuring out who the killer is alongside the characters. Somehow writers always find a way for the murderer to be who youd least expect, even when thats exactly what you're expecting. As the case progresses, audiences will need to keep a close eye on some of these unsuspecting suspects.

Weve done our investigation, interviewed the witnesses, and compiled all the evidence as to who is who and where they were on the night of the murder.

Sam Rockwell as Inspector Stoppard

Inspector Stoppard is played by Sam Rockwell, an experienced inspector who has spent a number of years on the force, making him equally weary and wise. Upon his assignment to the case, Inspector Stoppard found himself drawn into the glamorous and dangerous underground world of theater.

Sam Rockwell is well-known for his part as a lonely astronaut working on the moons surface with only his computer as a companion in the 2009 sci-fi drama Moon, or for his equally hilarious role as Zephod Beeblebrox in Martin McDonagh's film Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri. He received his second Oscar nomination in 2018, as former president George W. Bush in Adam McKay's Vice.

Saoirse Ronan as Constable Stalker

Saoirse Ronan plays the young and determined Constable Stalker who is being taught by Inspector Stoppard, who is always patient and weary. Stoppard is known for jumping to conclusions and taking things too seriously.

Saoirse Ronan, an award-winning actress well-known for period pieces, has appeared in a number of films, including Hanna, in which she played the titular character, a skilled assassin with an unsuspecting appearance. Ronan has a wide range of roles, including the starring roles of a troubled youngster who wants out of her gruesome life in Lady Bird, as well as Eilis, an Irish immigrant from the 1950s in the 2015 film Brooklyn.

Adrien Brody as Leo Kopernick

Adrien Brody will play Leo Kopernick, the victim of a masked assailant in the costume store, although his body was later placed on the stage, where he was discovered by his coworkers. He was a notorious character who hid a few secrets and fabricated theories.

Adrien Brody is most well-known for his lead role as Wladyslaw Szpilman in the 2002 biographical drama The Pianist, for which he received widespread praise and an Academy Award for Best Actor. The Grand Budapest Hotel actor has recently starred as Luca Changretta in the Peaky Blinder series as the main antagonist in the series' fourth season. Asteroid City is an upcoming Wes Anderson film set in a 1950s astronomy convention.

Harris Dickinson as Dickie Attenborough

Dickie Attenborough, a charming actress, has a rather condescending personality. The night in question, Dickie and Leo got into a fight, with Leo smashing Dickie into an enormous cake at a large party. It's not yet clear what the argument was about, but chances are it had something to do with Sheila Sim's stunning lead lady.

Harris Dickinson is well-known for his powerfully emotional starring role as Frankie in the 2017 drama Beach Rats. Recently, the Trust actor appeared alongside Daisy Edgar-Jones in the film adaptation of the award-winning novel Where the Crawdads Sing, playing the not-so-good ol boy Chase Andrews, who is accused of murdering the swamp girl Kya Clark. The series titled Retreat is expected to be released later this year on FX.

Ruth Wilson as Petula Spencer

Ruth Wilson is a cast mate of Leos who has no time for the cops. She feels as though she is being held hostage and appears to know more about the crime as she continues to be interrogated by the police.

David Oyelowo as Mervyn Cocker-Norris

Mervyn Cocker-Norris, the overrated, er, sorry, celebrated playwright, once threatened to murder Leo during a disagreement about the script. This was quickly reported to the inspector, who unfortunately accepted the threat.

David Oyelowo is well-known for his powerful performance as Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in the 2014 biographical drama Selma. The actor is also well-known for singing lines in the 2018 television adaptation of Les Miserables, including Role Play, in which Oyelowo will play Kaley Cuoco. The thriller is expected to focus on how a couple's past lives turn their lives upside down.

Sian Clifford as Edana Romney

Edana Romney, a cast member of the play turned film, will be played by Sian Clifford. This makes us believe that she may have something to hide.

Sian Clifford is well-known for her recurring role as Claire in the Amazon Prime Video Original series Fleabag, which chronicles a woman who is attempting to turn her life around, seeking therapy and contemplating religion instead of using sex to cope with her emotions. She is currently working on an unstable comedy series with Rob Lowe and Fred Armisen.

Pippa Bennett-Warner as Ann Saville

Ann Saville is the alias of Pippa Bennett-Warner. Ann and John Woolf are embroiled in an affair, and the only person who knows their secret is Leo.

Pippa Bennett-Warner is well-known for her role as Shannon Dumani in the Sky Original series Gangs of London, in which she plays Lucian Msamati, her hugely popular video game. Malenia, Blade of Miquella is her voice. Baron Day Barracks is a fantasy war film starring a female character. It's planned to be released in January 2023.

Reece Shearsmith as John Woolf

John Woolf, the film producer in charge of the project, will play Reece Shearsmith. Leo learned about the film producer John and Ann after approaching them at a pub late at night. The pair promptly released each other when Leo appeared, posing questions against them about what they were doing so late. According to Constable Stalker, John and Ann might have killed Leo in order to keep their affair a secret.

Reece Shearsmith is well-known for his recurring roles in the long-running series The League of Gentlemen and Inside No. 9. He is well-known for his role as Steele in the 2015 sci-fi drama High Rise, but fans of Simon Pegg's films might recognize him as Mark in Shaun of the Dead.

Jacob Fortune-Lloyd as Gio

Jacob Fortune-Lloyd is the protagonist of The Last Airbender, a series of actors whose roles are little known.

Jacob Fortune-Lloyd is well-known for his role as a Sith Fleet Officer in Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker, in which Shirley Henderson played the role of Andrew in the 2021 film The Last Letter From Your Lover, as well as the forthcoming television series Bodies, which follows four detectives investigating the same murder in different periods.

Pearl Chanda as Sheila Sim

Pearl Chanda plays Sheila Sim, a beautiful young starlet who starts a feud between Leo and Dickie. Leo appears to have feelings for the flirtatious young lady, whom Constable Stalker seeks to apprehend after coming somewhat quickly to the wrong conclusion.

Pearl Chanda is well-known for her part as Nilufer in the phenomenal HBO series I May Destroy You, which explores the concept of consent in the modern world, including Daisy Edgar-Jones, who plays Zoe in the 2021 adaptation of H.G. Wells' War of the Worlds. Chandas next project is a period piece titled Monster Heart, directed by No Time to Die actress Priyanga Burford.

Charlie Cooper as Dennis Corrigan

Dennis Corrigan, an usher who appears to be the second victim of the killer, will be played by Charlie Cooper. But audiences will have to wait and see if Dennis survives the sandbags that were dropped on him backstage.

Charlie Cooper is an actor and writer known for his role in This Country, a BBC comedy series that investigates the lives of young people in modern rural Britain. He was also a writer and creator for the series that ran until 2020.

There are a few more characters who arent yet suspects in the novel, but that doesnt mean that they arent. A witness identified Harley the Motorcycle Messenger (Kieran Hodgson) and a character named "Mother" (Ania Marson) are among the other characters.
