Keanu Reeves is returning to DC for the Constantine sequel ...

Keanu Reeves is set to lead DC's resurrected 2005 supernatural thriller Constantine, which he starred in.

According to Deadline, John Wick will be reunited with director Francis Lawrence, who directed the first film in the franchise. The script will be written by Akiva Goldsman.

Along with JJ Abrams and Hannah Minghella, Goldsman will serve as a producer.

Reeves will reprise his role as supernatural exorcist and demonologist John Constantine, who is shown to be dying in the original film, but ends up staying around to save his soul by keeping demons from breaching the Earth.

In the movie, he fights archangel Gabriel and Lucifer.

Meanwhile, Reeves is gearing up for the fourth installment of John Wick, which, according to director Chad Stahelski, will be the longest film in the franchise yet.

After the third installment, John Wick 4 will be at least 132 minutes long.

"We're in the final stretch for picture lock, and then we'll have our VFX music." "This is the furthest along I've ever been, this much in post.

"We've loved the music so far. Tyler Bates is still working on some of the bigger sequences. VFX will be coming in throughout the remainder of the year. But we're dangerously close.

"As far as our picture lock goes, we're within a few minutes of locking." The sequences are completed. There's probably another few weeks of editing overall, then we lock picture, and we're all about music, sound, and the effects."

The Constantine sequel has no release date.

On Amazon Prime Video, you may purchase or rent John Wick movies, as well as DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K Ultra HD movies.
