Rihanna sings Diamonds and hits during the Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show ...

Rihanna was the headliner for the Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show tonight, and this was, of course, a different take on the game.

We certainly anticipated a lot of the big concert, although we did miss a few surprises.

Rihanna's energy was first and foremost, and she seemed to have hardly missed a beat since the last time that we saw her live. And, of course, we saw a stream of many of her greatest hits, especially in terms of how it carries into "We Found Love."

Rihanna releasing "All of the Lights" without a certain controversial rapper in attendance — that was not the case. She also didn't do "Princess of China," a collaboration with Coldplay. (That was a little less of a surprise.)

Given Rihanna's growing fashion career, this was probably the prettiest performance you could have hoped for. It was a fantastic comeback for her on the stage, and honestly, the greatest surprise was just that there weren't any comebacks.
