If you were like us, you hoped on some level that Ted Lasso would be revealed following the Super Bowl. After all, there were reasons to make something happen.
So where do we begin? Well, the most logical place is reminding you that the Jason Sudeikis series will be broadcast again in the spring, and an announcement during the big game would have been a super-easy way to get some discussion started immediately.
We tend to think there are a couple of reasons why this did not happen at the end of the day.
This is the big one. We imagine that Apple TV+ would have considered this possibility, but likely opted against it because to the expense associated with making something like this happen. This is for a program that already costs a lot of money to produce, and they may not have considered that they should spend such money on something like this.
Venue – We do tend to believe there are a few other fantastic ideas to promote the program that are coming up. It would be wonderful if we could know which ones are, but for the time being, we just want to believe that the streaming service will pull out all the stops to promote what is effectively the largest show that they have. Why would they, especially since there is so much speculation that this will be the final season?
