The FOV slider in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II has long been able to modify your field of view (FOV) on PC, either via console commands or the in-game interface.
In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, you may adjust FOV settings.
While you're in the menus, the best way to adjust Modern Warfare II's FOV slider is to press the Options button, which is very simple to use. Use the right bumper to navigate to the gear icon and select Graphics.
Navigate to the View section once you have found it in the Graphics menu, where Field of View is the first option. Here you can control your in-game FOV using the directional keys or the left stick.
There are several other choices here, including Aim Down Sight FOV and Weapon FOV. ADS FOV has two settings: independent and affected.
Call of Duty's aimed FOV is traditionally independent, so the FOV will dynamically adjust to its standard value, bringing the image in so you have a slightly closer view of your target. However, choose the Affected setting, and the dynamic adjustment will take into account your custom FOV value, so youll be able to see the additional spaces around you while aiming.
The other option is the Weapon Field of View, which changes the resolution of your weapons model on screen. There are three choices:
- Narrow, where your weapon looks bigger.
- Default, where your weapon is a regular size.
- Wide, where your weapon will be smaller in comparison to the rest of the screen.
The Weapon FOV for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will default to Narrow, but you may alter it at any time. The same goes for your other FOV settings in a match.
