The game has a large amount of guns to collect, including a ton of ranged weapons. However, there are plenty of close-range options available as well if you like to take your adversaries on up close and personal.
In Fortnite, what is a ranged weapon?
Fortnite uses a melee weapon to physically assault opponents up close. So there is a requirement for every weapon in the battle royale that does not fire bullets or bullets.
Each match starts with a Pickaxe Harvesting Tool, which can be used to smash through structures and cause little damage to opponents. You may also collect the Shockwave Hammer during the match.
