In Warzone 2 Season 2, all of the Al Mazrah map changes include Afghan, underground caves, and more ...

Season 2 of Warzone 2 includes a new Ashika Island Resurgence map, but also changes to Al Mazrah. Here are all of the major map changes that will be introduced in Season 2, including the classic Afghan map and an underground cave system.

Season 2 of Warzone 2 is bringing significant changes to Modern Warfare 2's battle royale, returning many mechanics such as looting and the Gulag back to the original game. But Al Mazrah will also get some love in Season 2.

On February 15, the developers teased a renovation to the Sattiq Cave Complex area and revealed all of the major Al Mazrah map changes for Warzone 2 Season 2.

  • Afghan plane arrives
  • Passenger Train
  • Underground Cave Network

A Afghan plane has arrived in Warzone 2 Season 2.

The Sattiq Cave Network exhibited the classic Modern Warfare 2 Afghan map, but it was no longer equipped with this iconic feature.

The classic Afghan jet has crashed-landed at the Sattiq Cave Complex, bringing the famous map to life in Al Mazrah. According to the developers, the new downed jet provides a lot of cover between the large cave openings, houses, and bunkers.

Season 2 of Warzone: Passenger Train

With the Warzone 2 Season 2 update, another train arrives in Al Mazrah, but this time it's a passenger train.

This passenger train is similar to the freight train, but with a quick rotation time and plenty of high-tier loot, but instead of the wide-open nature of the freight train, you'll have to go through various cars, including the "sleeper, bar, and regular passenger cars."

All of these cars will have a roof that covers them, while only a few are visible through skylights on the roof. To cross-train, you'll need to open the doors between each one.

Season 2 of Warzone 2: The Underground Cave Network

The most northern part of Al Mazrah now has an underground cave network that connects major POIs and landmarks in the region, like Rohan Oil and Taraq Village.

These caves will have five entrances, all of which include drop-downs and typical cave entrances. There will also be loot to discover inside these tunnels, so they'll be well worth a visit.
