Magic Mike 3 is now on its way. The third installment of the Magic Mike franchise is called Magic Mike's Last Dance and will be released in cinemas on February 10, 2023.
After directing the first two films in 2012, Steven Soderbergh will return to direct Magic Mike's Last Dance. Reid Carolin, who wrote the first two films, will also return as a producer.
The first two films both became household names at the global box office, with $285.6 million between them. Magic Mike took a closer look at male strippers as a leading dancer taught an aspiring stripper how to perform, party, and make money.
Matthew McConaughey starred as Dallas, a former stripper and Mike's manager, in that film, which received glowing reviews for his performance, which was part of a string of critically acclaimed performances in several films that eventually culminated in him winning the best actor award for Dallas Buyers Club in 2014.
Magic Mike XXL is a sequel to Magic Mike, released in 2015, three years after Mike left the stripper career while at the very top of his game before he and other strippers went to Myrtle Beach for one last performance. It turns out it wasn't exactly Mike's last performance, though, due to the release of Magic Mike's Last Dance.
Magic Mike Live, a massively successful stage show that began in Las Vegas, has since expanded to London, Berlin, and Australia.
