The Boston Breach has found a replacement for the recently departed Methodz, none other than a player with a memorable name that will be a hit with the locals.
After Methodz' surprise retirement announcement at Major Two, The Breach announced today that Beans would be joining the starting lineup. He'll join up with Owakening, Nero, and Vivid when Major Three begins its online qualifiers this weekend.
Beans first made a name for himself last season on the Toronto Ultra Academy EU squad before signing for Boston as a bench player this past September. When Owakening was ill and unable to play, Beans quickly found himself in the thick of it at Major One.
After Major Two, the Breach players find themselves in the middle of the CDL standings. The Boston team currently sits in seventh place in the league with 70 CDL points, 20 points behind the OpTic Texas team.
The 22-year-old from the United Kingdom will continue to build on his Major One influence and help Boston climb the standings in the final three Major events of the year.
Will Beans grow to become a Beantown legend? The headlines kind of write themselves, so now it's up to the player to make it happen.
In a Major Three online qualifier match, the new Boston Breach lineup will face the Toronto Ultra on February 17th.
