The Honey Badger has triumphantly returned to Call of Duty. The popular CoD: Ghosts AR is now included in Modern Warfare 2, with a new title. Say hello to the Chimera.
The Chimera's in-game description states, "With a built-in suppressor and low-energy.300 BLK rounds, the Chimera is adept at close-quarters combat." "The.300 BLK Subsonic Ammo features no visible traceers and conceals kill skulls from the enemy team."
When it comes to the Chimera's capabilities, the description pretty much sums it all up. It's an assault rifle, but one that falls short at long range, meaning you may not want to use it on the game's larger maps. However, it might be appropriate for something as simple as Shoot House or Shipment.

Why is this the best Chimera loadout in MW2?
The Chimera is a close-range rifle by default. It's an assault rifle that seems to function more as a submachine gun than a traditional AR, but the Gunsmith allows you to modify it to suit your needs.
The Chimera is quite similar to the Peacekeeper gun from Black Ops II, which was originally described as an AR/SMG hybrid. That's honestly the finest descriptor for this weapon in MW2, now in the hands of players across the world for several months after its initial release.
This set of attachments will help the Chimera to have a bit more range success, while also providing a buff to damage, accuracy, and recoil control. Changing the barrel to the 10′′ SA Phoenix will enable you to select different muzzles, which are disabled by default due to the integrated suppressor.
The Honey Badger is in your hands in MW2. While this loadout will improve accuracy, the Chimera tends to fall short at longer rangers.
Personal preference will always rule supreme in the rest of your loadout, but the above recommendations will work well in nearly any game mode. It's an all-purpose class setup that almost any player should have trouble with while pub-stomping.
