Hoyoverse continues to release regular updates to its huge open-world adventure Genshin Impact. The next 3.1 patch will continue to expand upon players' journeys in the recently added Sumeru region and introduce a desert region to explore. Additionally, players can expect featured banners for characters like Cyno, Candace, and Nilou.
The next patch of Hoyoverse will be released on September 28 and take the Traveler on a desert adventure. The Eremites are a group of desert dwellers called the Eremites, which are tensed to revive the deceased Scarlet King. Most importantly, the much anticipated Dottore and Scaramouche from the Fatui Harbingers appear in this scene, and it appears Scaramouche is on some sort of giant death machine.
This patch will also feature a new character, Mika, who is introduced in Mondstadt, and we will get to know more about our resident wolf-boy Razor for the first time.
A new boss battle will be added to Sumeru. There will be vast sand dunes, but also more populated areas to explore. Aaru Village, a small village nestled in worn sandstone, is a safe haven for Akademiya scholars, and it is stunning.
Cyno (also known as General Mahamatra), Candace, and Nilou are three new playable characters in the game. Candace is a five-star polearm user who uses polearms but also a Hydro character that uses a special shield as part of her Elemental Skill. The last but not the least, we have the Hydro sword wielder Nilou, who appeared in the 3.0 archon quest.
Here are some of the 3.1 Genshin Impact banner characters you may want.
The first phase of the banner will feature two different banners: one for Cyno and a rerun for the Anemo archon Venti. Candce will be featured alongside them in both banners.
Nilou will be featured in the second phase of the 3.1 patch, as well as a rerun for the alchemist Albedo.
The Genesis Crystals top-up shop, where you can get them if you have already used it, will also be revamped.
