The pastry homage was inspired by a scene from the third episode of the show, in which Frank, played by Murray Bartlett, surprises his partner Bill, played by Nick Offerman, with a sweet little strawberry patch that they only had once in a long time: fresh fruit. Another user took the opportunity to make a wonderful statement, calling the pastry "a work of art."
As any fan of the popular HBO series might have guessed, the photo has gone viral, with Twitter user AskAubry (@ask_aubry) apparently brought to tears by the edible tribute to this crusty ol' couple and another Twitter user providing the perfect reaction meme:
All of this is proof that TLOU viewers were actually interested in Bill and Frank's love story, which is both beautiful and tragic. Here's hoping that your Valentine's Day will be filled with plenty of the former and none of the latter, however you choose to celebrate.
