Watch the first trailer for the Stephen Kings classic horror film Children of the Corn ...

The first trailer for an upcoming remake of Stephen King's 1977 novel Children of the Corn has been released, revealing all of the adult murderering violence anyone might desire.

Children of the Corn is the story of a girl who persuades all of the children in a small town to murder all of the adults. It was directed by Kurt Wimmer, and here's the official synopsis:

Cornfields, scarecrows, and a whole lot of kids with sharp knives are included in the teaser, although it doesn't appear to be high-budget or anything like that, although it does not need to be. Looks like there's a lot of chasing, screaming, crying, and havoc — what else does one need for a horror film?

In some ways, this version is different from the original 1984 movie version. In that movie, two adults go into town and discover all of the murdered adults. They then become the next target of the child murdering mob.

Children of the Corn will be available in theaters on March 3, where it will be available for 18 days before going digital on March 21.
