The premiere date for Season 4 of Succession is here. The latest on the final season's speculation ...

In terms of Successionseason 4, there are a few things to discuss right now, and they involve two topics: When it might be coming back, and whether or not it was really heading towards the end of the season.

Weve heard HBO and HBO Max's Chief Content Officer Casey Bloys state that the Jeremy Strong drama will return with new episodes in the 2023 Emmy cycle, which means it will be back before the cut-off date of June 1st, and that the network itself will release season 4 next year. That means there's a window from January 1 to May 31 when the show will be back, and we tend to think that March or April is the most appropriate window.

Bloys' biggest accomplishment this week comes down to the show's long-term future. According to Deadline, no decision has been made on whether or not we would get the final season. Instead, it may be down to what the creator's wishes are, who has apparently not decided.

It feels appropriate to go out with five, especially if there is uncertainty this time around. We like the idea that the showrunner knows from the start that they are getting there at the end.

Season 4 is expected to bring a lot of the same Roy family problems that we have seen over the years, mostly because that is how they operate. Kendall, Roman, and Shiv will all be forced to fight off their own, while Logans own husband Tom will shine as Logans new #2. Yeah, this will be messy.
