The majority of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II weapons are locked, and not just because of a level requirement. Many Gunsmith customization options, including attachments and cosmetics, are restricted. These limitations are likely to push players toward the default classes, which have fully-kitted versions of some weapons for players to try out. The Lachman-556 Assault Rifle is one such locked weapon or it would be if it were not for a bug with the menus that allows you to upgrade it to the MP
How to unlock the Lachman-Sub MP5
A bug in the Create-a-Class menus forces you to buy a Lachman-556 and upgrade it sufficiently to unlock the Lachmann-Sub MP5 variant. The glitch does not work if you have a primary weapon in your primary slot. Next, go to the Perk Packages menu and select the Deadeye pre-build package.
The Lachmann-556 is now in your secondary slot once you have selected it and redirected to the main Loadout menu. Due to some strange code issues, you may now level up the weapon normally and apply more attachments to it than intended.
Play with the Lachmann-556 enough and youll unlock the classic MP5 from Modern Warfare II. While youll need to earn attachments for it through play, the MP5 is yours to use freely. It's also one of the best weapons available in the beta, much like in 2019s Modern Warfare. Get the weapon now in case Infinity Ward takes action.
