Daredevil: Born Again actor Charlie Cox wants more legal drama

Daredevil: Born Again actor Charlie Cox wants more legal drama ...

Charlie Cox played the blind superhero in three seasons of Daredevil on Netflix and reprised the role for The Defenders before confirming that Daredevil would join the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the coming years. That film was soon followed by the announcement that he would reprise his role in the 18-episode Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again.

Cox expressed his gratitude to The Hollywood Reporter for allowing him to order 18 episodes of the series, more than he ever had in a single season at Netflix.

Cox said the 18 episodes would be like a breath of fresh air. So there's even more content than we've ever had before, which at the time, seemed to be a lot.

What does the actor wish to do with those extra episodes? If he gets his way, you can expect to see a lot more of Murdock's day job as a lawyer.

What I like to see here is more time to really dwell in the characters and spend more time in Matt Murdocks world as a lawyer, according to the author. And still have all of the cool Daredevil superhero stuff, but to really dwell in his world and ground the show in the everyday life of someone who is a lawyer, I think it might be really interesting.

As demonstrated by the success of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (in which Cox will also appear), Marvel Studios has complete confidence in its ability to produce a successful series.

Im a huge fan of everything they've done so far, and I wouldn't subjugate them in any way, according to a former colleague.
