When it comes to creating your next friend/business partner, you never know what to expect from your next business partner. That sort of scenario is even more unpredictable when you have veritable workhorses like Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, the pair behind one of the most fun additions to the 2022 television schedule.

Reynolds DMing McElhenney out of the blue to congratulate him on an A+ episode of Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Ryan Reynolds emailed Rob McElhenney to describe how he co-hosted a special episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live. For this new power couple, Reynolds cited Mac Finds His Pride in his rundown of how Macs big dance scene impacted him:

I guess you made me laugh when you saw Rob in one of the episodes of Its Always Sunny. He did something that I thought was incredible. It was one of the most stunning things Ive ever seen. It was a dance sequence. all in black and white, in the rain. That was probably the pound for pound of the finest, beautifully choreographed, performed three minutes I've ever seen on television.

Rob McElhenney, a member of The Gang who was once incarcerated in Philadelphia, came out to his father, Luther (Gregory Scott Cummins). This dance sequence complements one of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphias rare emotional scenes, which is still held in high regard by Sunny fans almost four years after it happened.

Ryan Reynolds was impressed by McElhenney's work ethic, which is quite impressive considering Reynolds' busy schedule. It's always a mystery to find some iron in the fire for the Free Guy and Deadpool star, especially with the announcement of his fourth child with wife Blake Lively on the way.

I've been thinking, as I get older, whether or not I need to tell people when I appreciate them more. So I just DMped you and said, What I just saw on your program was fantastic, it was one of [the] most moving things I've ever seen.

Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney's friendship is only the beginning of what you should know about Welcome to Wrexham. It's also a good reason to keep up with the Wrexham A.F.C.'s activities.

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia's 15 seasons are now available on the same streaming service that hosts Welcome to Wrexham: Hulu. So, any FXX fans without a Hulu subscription should correct that, in order to catch up on whatever you missed.
