On February 15, Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 2 will be released, bringing new content and significant changes to both games. This time around, Warzone 2 will get the greatest attention, including a redesign of its mechanics, new Al Mazrah map updates, and a brand-new Ashika Island Resurgence map.
Season 2 brings five new weapons, including three in the Battle Pass and the Crossbow as part of the Path of the Ronin event. One more, the Tempus Torrent Marksman Rifle, will be released later in the season.

In Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, how do you unlock the Tempus Torrent?
The Tempus Torrent Marksman Rifle will be released later in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 2, likely as part of the mid-season update.
The developers haven't revealed the unlock strategy yet, but it should be accessible through both a challenge and a Store Bundle, similar to the Chimera and other Reloaded update weapons.
The Tempus Torrent unlock challenge might be as simple as getting kills in multiplayer matches, or more complex such as killing a DMZ boss and successfully obtaining the weapon. The developers should disclose the challenge closer to the time, so we'll keep you updated.
The Tempus Torrent isn't well-known until now, but it appears to be based on the SR-25, a 7.62mm magazine-fed semi-automatic rifle.
