As many weapons in the game have been altered, Apex Legends Season 16 is set to spice things up in the battle royale with some significant changes.
Apex Legends Season 16 is without a new Legend, but it's still one of the most exciting games to play yet, as the developers aim to enhance the game in many ways, including new adventures.
The new Legend classes, a new Nemesis Burst AR, and various enhancements and nerfs to Legends and weapons are some of the ways the developers have aimed to achieve this.
While Legends modifications can certainly affect the game's flow, the weapon meta is equally significant, and Season 16 contains some weapons balance changes that players will definitely want to notice.

Apex Legends Gets a New Legendary Shotgun Bolt
Season 16 of Apex Legends will add a Legendary Shotgun Bolt to the game, which will ultimately be a buff for all Shotguns.
This Legendary Shotgun Bolt is found in floor loot and crafters, and it also has a Gold Perk, which "automatically reloads rounds while sliding." The Shotgun Bolt is also compatible with a Shotgun when it's been equipped or stowed.
Apex Legends Season 16: Care Package & craftable weapons
After being added to the Care Package, Apex Legends Season 16 the developers decided to return the Rampage to floor loot. The weapon that will replace it in the Care Package is the Hemlock.
The Longbow and Volt have replaced the G7 Scout and C.A.R. SMG. Players will also notice changes to the weapon crafting rotation.

- Reduced base ammo capacity to 19 (was 20)
R-99 is a new model.
- Increased damage to 12 (was 11)
Assault Rifles
- Significantly reduced hipfire accuracy
R-301
- Reduced damage to 13 (was 14)
Hemlok Burst AR [Care Package]
- Damage increased to 23 (was 20)
- Headshot Multiplier increased to 1.8 (was 1.75)
- Improved recoil
- Integrated Boosted Loader Hop-Up
- Boosted Loader: Faster reloads at low ammo that overload the magazine with 9 extra rounds
Mastiff is a skiff.
- Spread pattern adjusted to be tighter
- Added Tactical Stocks attachment to improve reload speed and handling
- Increased projectile size at close range
The Peacekeeper is an outpost of the United States Army.

- Reverted to non-Care Package version
