Genshin Impact will be a part of Hoyoverse's anime series, which was founded in collaboration with Ufotable, a Japanese animation studio famous for releasing popular worldwide anime series like Demon Slayer.
As part of a developers stream on Friday, developers revealed a first look and concept trailer for the series. The series, which appears to be in its early stages of development, is not yet known as a concept trailer.
The teaser teases a lush, sweeping world, and then shows Genshin Impacts two protagonists, Lumine and Aether, standing hand-in-hand. It's a moving scene considering that the video game never allows players to see the twins standing side-by-side.
Genshin Impact will celebrate its two-year anniversary later this month. The free-to-play game takes players on a fantasy journey that takes them to several regions based on real-world countries. The anime series is well-known for its stunning environmental backdrop, and it appears the game will take a bow to these design elements as well.
