Old G, the team based on OG legends Topson, n0tail, and Ceb, might have faltered before the season had a chance to take off, but that doesn't mean the players aren't making an appearance.
Topson was named the best player in the scene three times over by Gaimin Gladiators mid-laner Quinn, and Ceb is wreaking havoc in ranked matches on one of their former OG roster's most famous heroes, Io.
Ceb has won every single one of 16 matches on Io in the last eight days, making him the most successful hero by far right now. He purchases items like Magic Wand, Bracker, Holy Locket, Mekansm, Medallion of Courage, Solar Crest, and occasionally, Guardian Greaves and Glimmer Cape.
However, in a Dota 2 match, he tapped into his inner Ana and played it as more of a core, adding Heart of Tarrasque and Desolator to the mix, making it tankier while striking like a freight train.
Ceb hasn't played professionally since Old G failed to qualify for the 2023 Dota Pro Circuit in December. It's unknown whether or not they'll give it another crack in the Spring Tour.
The Dota legend's spark is still going strong, as evidenced by his dominance in pubs, so maybe the veteran hasn't reached his goal yet, despite retiring several times.
