Overwatch 2's broken ultimate epidemic is getting worse, with Roadhog the latest hero to get accidental nerfs due to a bug in a dodgy ability glitch—and players across the community seem to agree, if the 'Hog' is having issues, nobody is safe.
On February 13, an ow2-loving OW2 player shared a glimpse of the issue on Reddit, showing a gameplay replay.
If someone interrupts Roadhog's ultimate activation, his ability to self-heal might be completely halted, according to the clip taken in the training lobby. The tank character's hook chain "also doesn't load until it connects with a target."
Roadhog's self-healing and character-locking abilities are certainly in jeopardy.
OW2 players pointed out that 'Hog' isn't the only hero to be experiencing issues either; players are seeing a few issues with ultimates, with season three seemingly filled to the brim with busted ults. In particular, Orisa has been affected, as she is locked into the spin animation.
Symmetra has been disabled for some time. Any part of a movable OW2 environment (like a door or payload) damages her abilities. On top of that, she can't pick them up or replenish them once more.
Now, gamers are just waiting for the next ult to decompress.
Since Overwatch's Feb. 7 patch, each of these issues has been addressed, so it's good to see that the Blizzard developers are already working to resolve them.
