ShowMaker, a Dplus KIA mid-laner, has demonstrated once again how well he's mastered League of Legends, even when he's having a good time.
During a stream last night, he decided to pick an unusual champion ahead of his next LCK matches, and it turned out to be quite successful.
He chose Alistar AP in the mid lane, while LeBlanc was chosen for the support position. The players switched roles, and it appeared they would have a tough time.
ShowMaker surpassed his expectations. He stayed alive in the early game, outfarming Syndra with the help of his jungler and support. The team then snowballed after surviving a successful skirmish on the bot side of the jungle.
When enemies were seemingly going to kill his jungler, ShowMaker said, "It can't be."
He defended his low-HP teammates and dealt significant damage in the process, allowing them to take over and win the battle.
ShowMaker gifted kills to his pals and later developed support gear. However, the tank's damage in the early game was impressive and certainly surprised his opponents.
The Alistar AP mid appears to be powerful in the early game in a group that can assist him with ganks and roaming. However, we wouldn't recommend this pick at home.
