Genshin Impact will be the subject of an anime series developed in collaboration with Ufotable, a Japanese animation studio known for launching popular worldwide anime series like Demon Slayer.
On Friday, developers showed off a first look and concept trailer for the series as part of a developer stream. The series, which is in its early stages of development, is still in the works. At the moment, it's simply called, Long-Term Project Launch: Concept Trailer.
The teaser teases a lush, vast world, and then depicts Genshin Impacts two protagonists, Lumine and Aether, standing hand-in-hand. Its a moving sequence considering that the video game never allows players to see the twins standing side-by-side. The whole point of the video game is that players are on a quest in search of their lost twin.
Genshin Impact will be celebrating its two-year anniversary later this month. The free-to-play game takes players on a fantasy adventure that includes several locations based on actual world countries. The anime series is well-known for its stunning environmental backdrop, and it is expected to incorporate these elements as well.
