Scaramouche has returned to his former self, and he is in hot water with the Genshin Impacts 3.1 pat ...

The next 3.1 patch will continue to build on players' journeys in the recently added Sumeru area and introduce a desert region to explore. Additionally, players can expect featured banners for characters like Cyno, Candace, and Nilou.

Hoyoverse released some new information as part of a developer stream Friday morning. The next patch will be released on September 28 and will take the Traveler on a desert adventure. The Eremites are a group of desert dwellers who are determined to resurrect the deceased Scarlet King. Most significantly, the much anticipated Dottore and Scaramouche from the Fatui Harbingers appear in this scene, and Scaramouche is in some sort of giant death machine.

This patch will also include a new character, Mika, who has been introduced, and we will learn more about our resident wolf-boy, Razor. It will be the first time we learn about this character's origins.

A new boss fight will be introduced in the Sumeru update. There will be enormous sand dunes, but also more established areas to explore. Aaru Village, a small village nestled in worn sandstone, is a safe haven for scholars ousted by the Akademiya.

Cyno (also known as General Mahamatra), the warrior Candace, and Nilou are all new playable characters in the game. She is a five-star polearm user who also uses polearms, but is a Hydro character who uses a special shield as part of her Elemental Skill.

Here are some of the 3.1 Genshin Impact banner characters you may want.

The first phase of the banner will consist of two different banners: one for Cyno and a rerun for the Anemo archon Venti. Candce will be displayed alongside them in both banners.

Nilou will be featured in the second phase of the 3.1 patch, as well as a rerun for Albedo, the alchemist.

The Genesis Crystals top-up shop, where you buy them, will be updated as part of the Weinlesefest, which will bring players back to Mondstadt for a limited-time seasonal event and four new mini-games.

Update: This post has been updated to include further information about the 3.1 Genshin Impact patch.
