Hogwarts Legacy Phoenix: Where is it located, and can you breed it? ...

The phoenix is one of the rarest and most difficult to catch of all creatures in Hogwarts Legacy.

The majority of Hogwarts Legacy beasts must be lured with beast feed, acquired via Poppy Sweeting, and grabbed with a magic nap-sack. Though the concept for catching a phoenix remains the same, players must acquire this mythical creature through a specific quest.

Here's what you should do if you want to capture a phoenix.

In Hogwarts Legacy, how do you catch a phoenix?

After attending your first beasts class, players must first unlock the Room of Requirement and the ability to capture beasts.

Players will be able to capture beasts and place them inside their Vivariums after finishing this quest as well as the "The Helm of Urtkot" questline. "Phoenix Rising" will be the last quest given by Deek and is the only way to capture a phoenix in Hogwarts Legacy.

Players will need to go through the cave to the southern part of Hogwarts and meet with poachers. Once the initial poachers have been defeated, players will get the first glimpse of the majestic phoenix.

Players will need to follow the path left by the magical beast once more, encountering hostile spiders and poachers. At the peak of the mountain, players will eventually encounter a phoenix for the last time and will need to equip their nab-sack to finally tame the beast. Return to the Room of Requirement and speak to Deek to complete the quest.

In Hogwarts Legacy, can you breed a phoenix?

The Phoenix is the only creature in Hogwarts Legacy that you can't breed. Only one exists in the game, and that's the one you'll capture. However, you can breed all 12 other animals when you unlock The Vivarium in the Room of Requirement.
