Riot Games confirmed today that two agents from VALORANT who have made their return to the meta will be affected by nerfs this week.
Raze and Killjoy are going to be replaced in VALORANT Patch 6.03. Also, the new game mode, Swiftplay, is expected to continue developing beyond the beta testing period to a full game release soon.
Other Sentinel agents resurfaced recently, including Killjoy and Cypher, with Raze, Jett, and Reyna being named "stable" picks at all ranks.
Killyjoy's Nanoswarm's health increased in early December, and her ultimate, the Lockdown, increased in health from 150 to 200, according to Riot. These changes are also nerfing her ultimate and Turret.
- Turret (E) health decreased from 125 to 100.
- Lockdown (X) point cost increased from seven to eight.
Raze, on the other hand, hasn't had many major changes over the previous few VALORANT patches. She remains popular, especially at the professional level. Raze's Boom Bot, which was briefly nerfed in Patch 5.12, saw a decrease in health from 100 to 60, which made it easier to kill. Now it only gets worse for the duelist.
- Boom Bot (C) duration decreased from 10 seconds to five seconds.
Raze will not be able to scout as much information as she used to due to these changes, which will mean her bot will run out of juice much faster.
After the initial introduction of the beta version in December last year, Swiftplay, the fast-paced unrated short match mode, will continue to be playable in VALORANT.
