The last season of Fortnite is here, featuring the evil Chrome that slowly devoured The Seven and now the island. However, in Chapter Three, season 4, the Loopers are able to exploit it to their advantage, transforming it into a blob of the liquid, avoiding damage from enemies and getting closer to them faster.

The Chrome Splash is a new throwable that appears to be a canister of the rapid-spreading Chrome liquid. When it splashes, the Chrome will cover the player's body and give them new abilities. Players will also be able to phase through walls, giving them a new strategy to surprise an adversary in an adjacent room.

When sprinting, chromed players will become a metal blob, which makes them immune to falls and fire damage. If you smash into a building piece, it will turn into Chrome, allowing you to pass through it since you are part of the same material.

In the following weeks, the Chrome is gradually going to take over the island, with players likely to assist in some way in this regard. While it's all fun and games right now, it's likely that the player and the Paradigm will be responsible for preventing Reality Zero from falling into the hands of this new threat. Regardless, it's wise to continue using the Chrome.
