Demi Moore is set to star in Feud Season 2 ...

Demi Moore of A Few Good Men has been signed for a supporting role in Feud Season 2.

Variety reported on her role, with Ryan Murphy (American Horror Story mastermind) returning his anthology series after five years with a remake of Laurence Leamer's Capote's Women: A True Story of Love, Betrayal, and a Swan Song for an Era.

Moore is expected to play socialite Ann Woodward, an ex-showgirl and radio actress who was accused of assassinating her husband back in 1955.

Truman Capote, the author of "Pirates of the Caribbean", will be played by Tom Hollander, while the film itself chronicles the novelist's life before and after the publication of a short story about his "high society female friends" whom he referred to as "his swans."

Diane Lane (Man of Steel), Calista Flockhart (Supergirl), Naomi Watts (The Imposible) and Chloe Sevigny (AHS) were all previously announced as cast members.

Gus Van Sant, the man behind Good Will Hunting and Milk, will direct Feud season 2. He'll direct the shots throughout each of the eight episodes.

In 2020's Brave New World, Moore last appeared on the small screen as Linda.

The Netflix drama Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, directed by Evan Peters, who released its first trailer just days ago, is another episode of Murphy's TV slate.

This real-life story is told from the perspectives of Dahmer's victims, and also illuminates the Wisconsin police force's failings throughout his 13-year killing spree.

Feud will return to FX in the United States at a later date.
