When casting Imperio in Hogwarts Legacy, should you go along with Sebastian or Ominis? ...

Players will learn many of the popular Hogwarts Legacy spells and forms of magic learned in the book and movie series. However, students will also be exposed to the three Unforgivable Curses: Crucio, Imperio, and Avada Kedavra.

Sebastian Sallow's questline only allows players to learn one forbidden spell. In the questline 'In the Shadow of Time,' players are forced to choose either character because of their relationship with both Slytherin students. Imperio is not a controlled form of knowledge.

Here's all you need to know about all your choices if you're unsure which Slytherin to support.

Should you take Imperio in Hogwarts Legacy?

In 'In the Shadow of Time,' players are trapped in a catacomb with Sebastian and Ominis, similar to the quest before that taught players Crucio. This final moment gives players their final chance to learn the Unforgivable Curse.

Ominis Gaunt will stop players from exiting the catacombs with the relic. The first dialog option reads, 'Very well. Let's talk to Sebastian,' and it will allow players to exit the catacombs without harming Ominis. If you have not already learned Imperio, you will miss your final opportunity to learn the spell by selecting this option.

Sebastian is sidelined by the second dialog choice, which allows the player to learn Imperio if they have not already. The player then casts Imperio on Ominis, and the two leave the catacomb.

Both options have no long-term consequences beyond the learning of the spell. Players will be able to exit the catacomb in either way.
