With every passing film, it seems even more clear that Marvel Studios intends to transform Hollywood into its personal checklist.
Back in October, Marvel announced that the one and only Harrison Ford would make his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in Captain America: New World Order. The legendary 80-year-old will portray Thaddeus Ross, the United States Secretary of State previously portrayed by William Hurt.
For a man who intends to retire Indiana Jones later this year, recruiting a film star of yore in Ford is a dream for just about any studio.
One Anthony Mackie will not be able to stop enrolling his veteran of a castmate in MCU 101, revealing to Yahoo! News that he intends to train Ford on the previous 15 years, and he will be sure to show him his receipts afterward.
In Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Mackie wore the mask of the Falcon back until the events of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, when he finally took it upon himself to pick up the iconic shield as the new Captain America following Steve Rogers' retirement in Avengers: Endgame.
Mackie's first solo film as the new Cap will be released on May 3, 2024.
