After years of waiting, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will finally arrive. It features big moments for the Marvel Cinematic Universe's future, and it may even establish someone else to be a hero in the next wave of media projects.
Cassie, Scott Lang's daughter, was previously underage and could not participate in the action in earlier films in this section of the franchise. However, as a result of time shenanigans in earlier phases, she has been aged up and will now play Kathryn Newton. While nothing is official yet, she does get her own outfit and some adventures in the Marvel comic books source material.
Stinger is a fan favorite of her generation, who has been active in this role since 2016. Prior to that, she was known as Stature, and her abilities included reducing and extending her size to incredible heights, and although Lang and other members of the Young Avengers team have been introduced in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there is a major caveat to this fan expectation, which is fueling right now.
Stephen Broussard, the producer of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, says nothing of the sort is planned at the moment and that the characters have only appeared in the current phase of development (remember the planned Inhumans movie?) But for the time being, here's hoping that several of the group will feature in the next team-up film.
After all, it'd be fun to see them work out their nerves over Doctor Strange. They might also be amazed by Spider-Man for handling so much on his own, may end up impacting others from other universes, or may end up dying for some serious emotional weight.
