On Tuesday, Nintendo released the official title for the highly anticipated sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which fans will name The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. While it sounds dramatic, it left them with one concern: which tears?

The main question is how should we interpret or pronounce tears? It may be read as tears, as in crying or shedding a tear, or as tears, as in tearing a piece of paper.
