Mystery lingers even behind locked doors in Hogwarts Legacy. This particular mystery is about the Slytherin Locks, which is part of a quest. Here's how you can open the Slytherin Locks in Hogwarts Legacy.
How to Solve Hogwarts Legacy Slytherin Locks
The Slytherin Locks are part of a study quest in which you would assist Ominis and Sebastian in gaining entry to Salazar Slytherin's Scriptorium. There will be three lock dials with symbols on them, and a snake guarding them on the top. To solve the three snake puzzles, you must match the symbols on the gate to the snake dials.
If you look around the room, you will notice three different iron gates with symbols carved at their center. Each gate has two unique symbols which you must match with the Slytherin locks. Use Q, E to rotate the top dial on keyboard, and A, D for the bottom dial on controllers.
The first Slytherin lock in the Hogwarts Legacy is solved.
Enter the first room which is on the left side of the main entrance and there will be a snake dial. Light up the flambeau beside the locked dial with Confringo.
How to Solve the Second Slytherin Lock in Hogwarts Legacy
The second Slytherin lock is at the entrance to the main entrance, and just below it there is a steel gate with bars. Use the same symbols on the nearby locked snake dial to open the gate. The gate has a circular shape on the top followed by the shape of a snake at the bottom.
The Hogwarts Legacy's Third Slytherin Lock
Use Lumos to go to the third and final locked snake dial in the corridor. Light up the flambeau beside it by lighting the third gate. Repeat the quest until you have found Noctua Gaunt's notes.
Then cast Lumos and walk the winding staircase that leads you to a room with a locked door. With the spell Reparo, you will be able to unlock the door with his Parseltongue. This is when you encounter the Slytherin locks in Hogwarts Legacy.
