After only a few days of availability in the anime game, the Genhsin Impact Hu Tao and Yelan banners have proven to be popular. This should come as no surprise considering the popularity of both characters and the strength of their signature weapons.
Hu Tao and Yelan are both considered to be the top-tier characters in the Genshin Impact tier list. The former is a powerful Pyro main DPS, while the latter is an equally capable Hydro sub-DPS. The greatest part about them being available at the same time is that they all work flawlessly together.
The Staff of Homa polearm and the Aqua Simulacra bow are superb in the hands of several characters, making the second half of Genshin Impact version 3.4 a must-pull situation.
As you can see in the chart below, many players were saving up for this opportunity because Alhaitham and Xiao's banners from the first half of version 3.4 didn't generate any sales figures anywhere near what Hu Tao and Yelan achieved.
After their third day of availability, Hu Tao and Yelan's banner sales are shown in this graph from GenshinLab, a website that compiles sales statistics from the Chinese App Store to monitor spending habits for a good chunk of the RPG's player base.
Hu Tao and Yelan produced about $19,835,133 USD/£16,357,835 GBP in three days, putting them second only to Nahida and Yoimiya in the same time.
Those who want to continue using the current Primogems have just over two weeks to do so. Dehya and Mika will be added to the growing roster, as well as a few unnamed reruns in Genshin Impact version 3.5.
