The list of huge and complex Skyrim mods is long, with the Bethesda RPG game still inspiring imagination from its players 12 years after it was released. Nevertheless, the heroic Dragonborn has been unable to fully communicate with the residents of Tamriel until now. But that's all changed when a new Skyrim mod finally gives your custom character a full voice.

'Dragonborn Voice Over' is a mod that uses AI to generate spoken dialogue for each screenplay in Skyrim. According to the creator, there are roughly 7,000 lines that are 'performed' by the AI. It's quite convincing, nonetheless.

In Fallout 4, giving your protagonist a voice was a welcomed addition, and it gives your character — and the game's narrative — some weight and plausibility. You may see Dragonborn Voice Over in action here.

Mathiew May is planning further packs for Argonian, Orc, and Khajiit Dragonborns. However, if you play Skyrim in any other language, there are no voice packs currently available. Click here to get Dragonborn Voice Over.
