The upcoming Minecraft update will add one of the prettiest areas we've ever seen in the Mojang building game, as well as a whole-new wood to build with, thanks to a fresh Minecraft biome. Earlier, it was unknown whether or not a new environment would be added to the Game Pass stalwart, but now we know that Mojang is dedicating some additional visual luster to the Minecraft 1.20 release date.
With Minecraft Overworld update 1.20, we're expecting to release the new cherry blossom biome around summer. The eponymous trees will bring a big, fluffy, and extremely pink overhaul to the Minecraft world, and will attract a lot of peaceful mobs like bees, pigs, and sheep.
The new biome will add another wood component to the Minecraft map, including a cherry blossom harvester, as Mojang creates a unique hanging sign.
The best Minecraft mods are great ways to make your personal builds look better than ever, but adding a few pink trees here and there is sure to add some more personality.
1.20 will also include a new Minecraft archaeology feature, which allows you to gently and carefully dig for hidden treasures that can be collected and used as decorations. As you mine, you'll eventually come across a new'suspicious sand' block, where you can recreate a forgotten artefact, and place it wherever you want.
