It was only a matter of time before someone modded the green ogre in Hogwarts Legacy, except that rather than modding Shrek as an outfit or adversary, they made Shrek a ridable broom. Nothing is more reminiscent of the early 2000s than Shrek, the green ogre from the well-known animated series of the same name.
The YouTuber behind the Shrek broom mod in Hogwarts Legacy posted a video on their channel that was not created by the YouTuber, but it was downloaded from Nexusmods. Shrek is stiff and motionless, only floating in the air while the play rides him, and his stoic face and dead eyes make the film about him flying around the Wizarding World of Harry Potter funny.
Should you go to Hogsmeade with Natty or Sebastian in Hogwarts Legacy?
Unfortunately, Shrek will not appear as any normal broom in the game once he has purchased the mod, which means players will be unable to ride him until late in the game when they have saved up a lot of money.
The Shrek is one of the most popular characters to be added to random games, although Thomas the Train Engine is likely to outperform him. Both the Shrek and the Train Engine mods have flaws that may cause problems while you ride along with your favorite characters from childhood, but it's probably worth the effort for the memes.
