'1923' 'Yellowstone' prequel adds 'Game of Thrones' alum Jerome Flynn ...

The Master of Coin is coming to Yellowstone. According to reports, Game of Thrones alum Jerome Flynn will join the cast of 1923, Taylor Sheridan's universe built around his famous Yellowstone series. He joins a cast led by series stars Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren with the series set to premiere this December on Paramount+.

The upcoming series will focus on the Dutton family's prequel period, which includes Prohibition, an epidemic, historic drought, and the threat of the Great Depression. All of this while the family's existence in Montana is at jeopardy.

Flynn is well-known for his role as Bronn in HBO's Game of Throne series, including Black Mirror, Ripper Street, and John Wick Chapter 3 - Parabellum, and his most recent projects are the TV films The Trick directed by Pip Broughton and Stephen Hopkins' The Dark Tower, based on a Stephen King novel of the same name.

Flynn joins a cast that includes already mentioned actors Ford and Mirren, as well as Darren Mann, Michelle Randolph, James Badge Dale, Marley Shelton, Brian Geraghty, Aminah Nieves, Julia Schlaepfer, Brandon Sklenar, and, most recently, Robert Patrick. Montana is currently in production for a release on Paramount+ in December. Yellowstone, the prequel's parent series, is expected to return on November 13 with its fifth season.
