This recap of Law & Order: SVU is for the second hour of a three-way crossover between Law & Order and Law & Order: Organized Crime. You can also see our recaps of Parts I and III here.
The first hour of the crossover event revealed that a young girl was Ukrainian and had survived the Russian invasion, only to be sex-trafficked shortly after arriving in the United States. And that revelation led SVUs Benson & Co., as well aslaw & Orders Cosgrove and Shaw, andOrganized Crimes Stabler and Bell to a ring of very bad people doing very bad things. And now that you've all caught up, go on toSVU!
Nicole was discovered at the pimps' house by Stabler, Benson, and Cosgrove, who is able to identify Sirenko as the guy who chased after Ava the day she was killed, only to discover that he has gone missing and left bomb-making materials in his garage.
Sirenko isnt involved in domestic terrorism, and from what they see, they conclude that the bomb is an improvised explosive device that was intended to do a lot of damage. But they dont know where he's going, so Liv tells an NYC official. He's been shut down now. Elliot contacts Sirenko and draws him out.
Except for Sirenko, the CI goes into the basement of an abandoned house where a new foundation is being laid: Elliot immediately gives the word for the cops to rush in. Stabler escapes, but not before shooting Vince (who, as I mentioned, has a baby face and long hair like Eli?) many times. The youngster dies as Stabler pleads for him to stay with him.
El is so depressed about it and dissatisfied with Sirenko that he nearly tears apart a city official who comes in and criticizes the team for still not knowing where the bomb is. But Liv holds him back until they realize that Sirenko is planning to bomb a NATO conference in a chic hotel in Manhattan. They evacuate the building and race against time to find the device before it goes off.
Shaw discovers the device in the garage and asks Lt. Dixon to instruct him on how to defuse it in the three minutes or so before the timer goes off. They do this only to discover Sirenko evacuating with the rest of the crowd. And Cosgrove has just put his hands on the man when the bomb goes off, knocking both Frank and Shaw to the ground and letting Sirenko escape.
After Rollins spots Sirenko, Stabler pulls him into the back of the boat, nearly shoots him into the ground, and then alerts Cosgrove to Ease down. As Sirenko is loaded into a cruiser, Frank and Elliot thank each other for retaliating against some highly dangerous police use.
