Following Twitch's controversial revenue changes, Nmplol will focus more on YouTube uploads ...

Following the announcement of their new revenue split, Twitch has been the subject of much fan outrage among artists. Some enthusiasts are concerned about the platform's future.

Nmplol, a popular Twitch streamer, discussed the changes, which would basically force partners to run more ads, explaining that while he isnt sure of Twitchs intentions, he will continue to invest his time in his YouTube channel.

Nmplol stated that he and I do not know what Twitch is doing.

I don't know what they're planning or what their goals are, but if they're attempting to make a platform that's attractive to streamers and viewers, they're going in the wrong direction.

Im not sure if the ship is sinking and they're just trying to make or save as much money as they can before the ship goes down. I've and will continue to focus on my YouTube channel because YouTube is going to be around for quite some time.

Nmplol has already gained a large following on YouTube right now; his channel has more than 241,000 subscribers; he uploads videos near-daily.

Multiple authors have suggested that deviating from Twitch following these announced revenue changes might be the case. Earlier this week Asmongold spoke about the changes, claiming that YouTube is improving every year. These changes could not have come at a worse time for Twitch.

As these controversial Twitch changes will not be implemented until June 1, 2023, streaming artists have a bit of time to think about their ideas.
