After Halloween, Netflix's 'Wednesday' has set a release date ...

The release date for Netflix's Wednesday has been announced. Hopefully you're the kind of Halloween season fan that celebrates throughout the month and all the way up until Thanksgiving, because the haunting series created by Tim Burton, Alfred Gough, and Miles Millar will release on November 23.

Jenna Ortegas Wednesday, a homicidal gal, is known for her long, black pigtails, jet black nails, and a stare that might (and may) kill.

We've been so excited to get a new twist on an old favorite since the casting reveals began rolling out at the end of last summer. Wednesday is the daughter of the Addams family, who is on her way to Nevermore, an academy that will help her develop her psychic abilities. While shes there, things take a strange turn when she discovers herself caught up in a mystery that has been stalking her family since long before she was born.

Catherine Zeta-Jones will play Morticia Addams, Luis Guzman as Gomez Addams, Riki Lindhome as Sheriff Donovan Galpin, Joy Sunday as Wednesdays peer and opponent Bianca Barclay, Victor Dorobantu as Thing, George Burcea as Lurch, and Gwendoline Christie as Nevermores headmaster, Larissa Weems.

Today's long-awaited news comes on the back of a wave of Wednesday-centered content and first looks that have come our way over the last few weeks. From trailers to interactive websites, the folks behind the production have been ensuring that the viewers are as interested in the series as they are. And with a cast, plot, and director as this, who would be surprised?

Although November 23 may seem like a long time to wait, it gives you ample time to get caught up on all things the Addams family. You can see the poster and the trailer here:
