Modern Warfare 2 Ground War maps are enthralling to Warzone 2 enthusiasts ...

The entire attention is on the Modern Warfare 2 beta, but Warzone players are focused on the main elements that will be included in Warzone 2.0, including the Ground War maps that will form Al Mazrah.

The second and last weekend of the Modern Warfare 2 beta began on September 22, providing several new maps and modes to try out. Players will have access to the beta until September 26, when Modern Warfare 2 will be released ahead of its October 28 release date.

It took Call of Duty gamers a long time to discover some new discoveries, including a throwback easter egg on the Farm 18 map. Infinity Ward certainly paid attention to detail when creating Modern Warfare 2s maps, and players are appreciative of this.

In the Modern Warfare 2 beta, the same applies to the two Ground War maps also known as Battle Maps. Both the Said and Sariff Bay maps may be enjoyed by players following the weekend two update.

The fact that Said and Sariff Bay will be included in Warzone 2's Al Mazrah map was evident to Warzone players who were playing the Modern Warfare 2 beta. In fact, they were impressed with the map designs and their potential to deliver a stellar Warzone 2 experience.

Tylymiez posted a comment on the Warzone subreddit explaining why they believe the Ground War maps would be ideal Warzone 2 combat. Despite the fact that the area is situated on a fairly level ground, they feel the urban landscape provides for excellent combat and vertical gameplay.

They praised the ease with which you can get around the map, given that this is a major concern for Warzone players. The other major flaw appears to be the presence of enemy AI, which may work differently in Warzone.

Players in the comments were quick to declare their approval: Agreed. I am really enjoying the overall tactical feel of the map and game. Honestly, I think infinity ward should simply delete the AI in all modes.

Fans agree that a well-designed map is the key to a successful battle royale, although there are some significant issues with the UI and looting mechanisms as we have seen. They can be improved over time.
