Respawn Entertainment has stated that it welcomes input from players, but that it will do whatever it takes to protect developers and maintain Apex Legends' competitive integrity. In a series of tweets, a senior player has publicly condemned the game and expressed how they were disappointed that Apex Legends developers did not work weekends to resolve the games issues.
Respawn Entertainment's statement was backed by a number of game studios who have also stated that we must stand together to prevent harming our communities, according to Bungie, who has also been fighting toxicity and harassment. We are with you in that effort, Respawn. Bungie has gone as far as suing its employees on numerous occasions.
