In the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Beta, every firearms level cap is met ...

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 beta may have a lot of maps and modes, but there are also a few limitations to the progression system. Every weapon in the beta has its own, rather low level cap, too. This will ultimately affect your weapon of choice, as some weapons cannot be upgraded like others.

Max level for every gun in the MW2 beta

The Gunsmith's only weapon class that can be leveled up is the select few. These are the only guns that can be used to unlock and equip attachments from the Beta. So, the more levels a gun can progress, the more attachments and upgrades you can expect to earn from them.

Although some max levels are higher than others, there are a few low-level guns that stand out among the others. For instance, the FSS Hurricane can do the most damage of all SMGs and has some of the greatest attachments in the game. It even unlocks the Cronen Mini Red Dot optic for it and several other weapons. It also has plenty of killstreaks and lethals that can be applied to loadouts.
