Season 48 of Saturday Night Live: All of the Confirmed Hosts And Musical Guests

Season 48 of Saturday Night Live: All of the Confirmed Hosts And Musical Guests ...

When an artist receives a spot on Studio 8H as the host of a Saturday Night Live episode, one of the many surefire signs that they've made it in the entertainment industry is when they're asked to host a Saturday Night Live episode. We've already got a few first-timers who will get to experience that honor for Season 48 of Saturday Night Live.

The current cast list includes some truly exceptional and versatile talents, as well as some new faces for the legendary sketch comedy series.

Miles Teller with musical guest Kendrick Lamar on October 1, 2022

Miles Teller, who will make his debut in the first episode of the 48th season of Saturday Night Lives, is well-known for his spectacular performances in dramas such as 2014's Whiplash or, more recently, 2022's Top Gun: Maverick.

On Saturday, October 1, 2022, Teller will be joined by a musical guest who is most certainly not a first-timer and always puts on a good show at Studio 8H. Grammy and Oscar-winning hip-hop artist Kendrick Lamar will take a break from his concert tour promoting his new album Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers for the third time on Saturday Night Live.

Brendan Gleeson with musical guest Willow on October 8, 2022

Brendan Gleeson, an established actor of drama and comedy both light (such as Paddington 2) and dark (such as 2008's In Bruges), will take a seat on Saturday Night Live on October 8, 2022. I wonder if James Austin Johnson will take a back seat that night to let Domhnall Gleeson reprise his role from Showtimes The Comey Rule as Donald Trump.

Willow, a first-time musician on musical guest duty, will be joined on SNL that night for the first time, according to her official twitter account. Although this will be the daughter of Will and Jada Pinkett Smiths first time performing songs on her own, she made a surprise appearance alongside Camila Cabello last season in April 2022.

October 15, 2022 Megan Thee Stallion

Billie Eilish in December 2021 and Lizzo the following April both performed as hosts and musical guests in Saturday Night Lives 47th season.

In a mid-credits moment that went viral, Megan Thee Stallion showed that she has a knack for comedy. She also released a new album in August, called Traumazine, so expect to hear a couple new songs in her second appearance at Studio 8H on October 15, 2022.

On Saturday nights at 11:30 p.m./10:30c, you'll get to see Season 48's SNL hosts perform their magic. If you don't have a Peacock subscription, you'll be able to stream each episode the following day.
