Spirited, a star-powered reimagining of A Christmas Carol, will be available on Apple TV+ this holiday season. Apple has released four stunning new posters showing the musical's leads Ryan Reynolds, Will Ferrell, and Oscar-winner Octavia Spencer looking particularly cheerful.
Reynolds plays Ebeneezer Scrooge, one of his ghostly guides, and Spencer as Scrooge's co-worker in Apple TV+'s Spirited, which is geared up to wreak havoc on viewers, with new original music and dance numbers from the legendary songwriting duo Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. The two Oscar-winning musicians are responsible for the popular numbers in La La Land, Dear Evan Hansen, and The Greatest Showman, as well as Emmy-
Ferrell is seen dressed up in period clothes, and Reynolds is seen snuggling up to Present in a very un-Scrooge gesture. Spencer is seen dancing in one of the brand-new posters, and Reynolds is seen practicing his dance moves in another.
Spirited was a sought-after project between Netflix, Paramount, and Warner Bros. With all-star actors and some serious talent on the cast, it's safe to assume the film will be a light-hearted, punchline-driven rendition of Dicken's dark novel. Aimee Carrero (Mack & Rita) as Nora, Marlow Barkley, Patrick Page, and Jen Tullock join the cast.
The first look posters for Spirited will be released on November 11 and the Apple TV+ premiere on November 18 just like Reynolds' interview with Collider's Editor-in-Chief Steve Weintraub on filming Spirited and Deadpool 3: The Return of Crimson Dawn.
