Will Ferrell's Elf Is a F*cking Perfect Movie, According to Charlize Theron ...

Charlize Theron, an Oscar winner, is ready to get into the holiday spirit.

Theron, who plays Will Ferrell, James Caan, and Zooey Deschanel in the family-friendly film The School for Good and Evil, said in a cover story that her two children are what inspire her career choices at the moment.

Theron said that the main motivation for me was the possibility that my kids would enjoy it.

Theron said that while I always tell my kids, just diversify a little bit, and my little one will go, Are you seeing the Housewives again? And I go, Yes, I am. Well watch a little Fellini later.'

Theron joined the Real Housewives fandom by following Jon Hamm and Jennifer Lawrences respective opinions on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' current season.

RHOBH looks to be the more viable option for Therons binge-viewing, given that the long-awaited Elf sequel will not be released until 2021. Elf icon Ferrell revealed in 2021 that he would give up $29 million to reprise the role of Buddy the Elf in a follow-up film.

I would have had to promote the film from an honest place, which would have been, like, Oh no, its not good. I just couldnt turn down that much money,' Ferrell said. And I thought, Can I really say those words? I don't think I can, so I guess I can't do the movie.'

Caan, a late Elf alum, claimed in September 2020 that Ferrell and director Jon Favreau allegedly clashed on set, resulting in Ferrell rejecting any Elf sequel directed by the Marvel director.

We were all going to do it, and I thought, Oh my god, I finally had a franchise film, I could make some money, let my kids do what they want to do,' Caan previously explained of an Elf 2 film. And the director and Will didn't get along very well, so, Will wanted to do it, he didnt want the director, and he had it in his contract.
