Kai Cenat is on the verge of becoming the king of Twitch. Today, the young Twitch star surpassed the established juggernaut in one of the most popularand meaningful metrics.

Cenat achieved a personal milestone by surpassing the most popular content creator on the platform at the time of writing this piece, and has gained more than 1,000 more subscribers since reaching 80,000.

According to Twitch Tracker, XQcs' active subcount is 79,043. Cenat has more active subscribers than any other predominantly English-speaking streamer. Casimito, a Brazilian streamer, has 138,252 active subscribers following an influx of 63,550 on Sept. 15 and 15,683 on September 16.

Cenat has an established reputation as a content creator, but it wasnt until this summer that he began to blossom on Twitch. Fast-forward to today, he met and exceeded subscriber expectations, while also displaying viewership that makes him one of the best.

This month Cenat is the second most-watched content creator on the platform, with 9.2 million hours watched. XQc is the most-watched channel with 12.7 million hours watched. In the past seven days, Cenat has averaged 48,181 viewers across 56 hours of airtime.
